{"id":20693,"date":"2025-09-04T10:38:03","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T13:38:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.101.10.196\/www\/?p=20693"},"modified":"2025-09-26T08:34:25","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T11:34:25","slug":"retiro-de-residuos-quimicos-acumulados-en-la-fica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/index.php\/retiro-de-residuos-quimicos-acumulados-en-la-fica\/","title":{"rendered":"Retiro de residuos qu\u00edmicos acumulados en la FICA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"184\" data-end=\"412\">En la ma\u00f1ana del mi\u00e9rcoles 3 de septiembre, el Departamento de Higiene, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente de la UNSL llev\u00f3 a cabo en Villa Mercedes el retiro de residuos qu\u00edmicos que se encontraban alojados en el Droguero de la FICA.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"739\">La Coordinadora de Higiene y Seguridad del Centro Universitario Villa Mercedes de la UNSL, Ing. Mercedes Quiroga, coment\u00f3 que el retiro fue realizado por la empresa ECOCHEM, especializada en servicios medioambientales, en una actividad impulsada por el Departamento de Higiene, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente de la UNSL.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"1338\">Explic\u00f3 que, si bien la cantidad de residuos qu\u00edmicos provenientes de los laboratorios de la FICA es relativamente baja \u2014ya que en general se realizan reacciones en microescala con fines docentes\u2014, en esta ocasi\u00f3n se contaba con residuos inertes y potencialmente peligrosos, residuos org\u00e1nicos, emulsiones con solventes org\u00e1nicos, as\u00ed como soluciones de \u00e1cidos y bases fuertes que no pudieron ser neutralizadas debido a su elevada concentraci\u00f3n. Estos materiales hab\u00edan sido acumulados durante aproximadamente seis a\u00f1os, tras la mudanza de los laboratorios ubicados en el edificio de 25 de Mayo.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"1338\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-20695 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Higiene-Seguridad-Medio-Ambiente-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1100\" height=\"733\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Higiene-Seguridad-Medio-Ambiente-4.jpg 1100w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Higiene-Seguridad-Medio-Ambiente-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Higiene-Seguridad-Medio-Ambiente-4-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Higiene-Seguridad-Medio-Ambiente-4-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1100px) 100vw, 1100px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1847\">\u201cEs importante destacar que esta es la primera vez que la empresa visita nuestra Facultad. Hemos acumulado residuos de diversos tipos durante varios a\u00f1os. La UNSL cuenta con un Procedimiento General en Gesti\u00f3n de Residuos Peligrosos acorde a lo que establece la Ley Nacional 24.051 y la Ley Provincial 335, que especifican los pasos a seguir para el tratamiento de este tipo de desechos. En esta ocasi\u00f3n, se concret\u00f3 el \u00faltimo eslab\u00f3n de la cadena de tratamiento de residuos qu\u00edmicos\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3 Quiroga.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1849\" data-end=\"2384\">Actualmente, la FICA implementa este procedimiento en sus laboratorios, lo que requiere inversiones en infraestructura, como la adquisici\u00f3n de bidones de polietileno especiales y la creaci\u00f3n de un centro de acopio. \u201cAdem\u00e1s, es fundamental llevar a cabo capacitaciones para el personal involucrado, y ya hemos comenzado con estas acciones. A partir de ahora, toda generaci\u00f3n de residuos ser\u00e1 objeto de seguimiento y clasificaci\u00f3n, siguiendo el trayecto establecido en el procedimiento\u201d, destac\u00f3 la Coordinadora de
