{"id":9192,"date":"2022-05-06T09:30:50","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T12:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/10.101.10.196\/www\/?p=9192"},"modified":"2022-06-08T12:49:51","modified_gmt":"2022-06-08T15:49:51","slug":"el-campus-universitario-cuenta-con-una-nueva-estacion-sismologica","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/index.php\/el-campus-universitario-cuenta-con-una-nueva-estacion-sismologica\/","title":{"rendered":"El Campus Universitario cuenta con una nueva Estaci\u00f3n Sismol\u00f3gica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El Laboratorio de Energ\u00edas Renovables (LER) informa que el pasado 5 de mayo de 2022, se instal\u00f3 en el edificio del Campus Universitario una &#8220;Estaci\u00f3n Sismol\u00f3gica de Una Componente marca Raspberry Shake&#8221;, que permitir\u00e1 ampliar los registros y las localizaciones de la zona.<\/p>\n<p>Esta instalaci\u00f3n se llev\u00f3 a cabo como colaboraci\u00f3n entre el PROICO 142018 \u201cDesarrollo de dispositivos para aprovechamiento de energ\u00edas renovables, solar y e\u00f3lica, en extracci\u00f3n y destilaci\u00f3n de agua\u201d y el Proyecto PICT 2019- 00854 \u201cEstudio de la sismicidad actual e hist\u00f3rica de la provincia de San Luis\u201d, dirigido por la Dra. Silvana Liz Spagnotto (UNSL FCFMyN \u2013 CONICET)<\/p>\n<p>Los estudios sismol\u00f3gicos que dicho proyecto lleva a cabo son de vital importancia para el an\u00e1lisis de riesgo s\u00edsmico y su relaci\u00f3n con fallas geol\u00f3gicas potencialmente activas. Actualmente, cuentan con los primeros mecanismos focales y modelos de velocidad en el sector de la Sierra de San Luis y alrededores, a partir de tesis realizadas en el marco de los proyectos vigentes.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9193\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/SISMOGRAFO-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"783\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/SISMOGRAFO-02.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/SISMOGRAFO-02-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/SISMOGRAFO-02-1024x668.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.fica.unsl.edu.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/SISMOGRAFO-02-768x501.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>En la provincia de San Luis existen evidencias desde la sismolog\u00eda hist\u00f3rica de que algunas de estas fallas est\u00e1n activas, como son los casos de las fallas responsables de los terremotos de San Francisco del Monte de Oro (magnitud M~6, del d\u00eda 22 de mayo de 1936) y el de Sampacho (magnitud M~6, 11 de junio de 1934), sin olvidar el reciente sismo de magnitud 6.3 del d\u00eda 19 de noviembre de 2019 ubicado en la cuenca de Beazley en el l\u00edmite con la provincia de Mendoza. Los estudios neotect\u00f3nicos, sugieren un potencial muy destructivo en la localidad de Merlo y en otros sectores de alta densidad poblacional (Costa 1992, 1999, Costa et al 2019).<\/p>\n<p>Es por ello que la instalaci\u00f3n de esta estaci\u00f3n en la localidad de Villa Mercedes, permitir\u00e1 ampliar los registros y las localizaciones de la zona. perteneciente a la UNSL, adem\u00e1s de la instalada en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Instituto Sismol\u00f3gico Volponi de la Universidad Nacional de San Juan en la ciudad de San Luis, y una en la localidad de La Paz, C\u00f3rdoba con el Instituto Nacional de Prevenci\u00f3n S\u00edsmica, todas transmitiendo datos de libre acceso.<\/p>\n<div class=\"gmedia_gallery phantom_module is_bot\"
